 Early 2003 Gerber International HARSEY Design "Operation Iraqi Freedom" Survival/Combat Knife  

This model was a limited international production that was the predessor of the Gerber/Harsey "LHR" (Larson/Harsey/Reeves) . (The LHR which is now discontinued, was designed by Award-winning knife designers William W. Harsey and Chris Reeve and the director of the world's largest military hand-to-hand combat school; Matt Larson of the Modern Army Combatives Program).

Features a 5 1/2" Special Etched Blackened Blade made of 440 stainless with a Sand Colored    "TacHide" or Kraton Rubberized Non Slip Handle. Measures 10 3/8" overall. The sand colored sheath incorporates an innovative retention mechanism to secure the knife from unwanted removal.

This model is one that you just don't see anywhere. Mint Piece. Never used or carried. Box is rough.
