Original Vintage 11" CORICAMA 50's Italian Classic "Picklock" with Genuine Horn and Bayonet

Features mostly black Buffalo Horn handles with a 5" mirror polished Bayonet Styled Blade. Tang is marked "CORICAMA" with "MADE IN ITALY" underneath.  Brass lined Nickel Silver bolsters. Features superb action with excellent lockup. Very Good + / Excellent condition.

Mirror Polished Blade is full and clean with a slight edge. Traditional Red Dot Sliding Safety.. Picklock design; means you must take your index finger and thumb and pull back where the blade locks to unlock it, (modern classics have the swivel bolster release design).

 Measures 10 3/4" overall open. Vintage picklock models are becoming very hard to obtain in this condition. They are heavier constructed with thicker backsprings and blades, with thicker liners and drop in kick springs, (replaceable). You can feel the weight difference.

Measures 4 7/8" closed. A superb example of a vintage Italian classic. CORICAMA is one of the more collectible tang stampings. Everything is correct on this vintage model. The quality of CORICAMA is well documented and rivals that of the LATAMA. (Most agree that the Latama craftsmen made the Coricama models). Horn is mostly black on both sides with some more color on the back. Includes a custom zippered pouch..
