SCALE RELEASE! Protech MAGIC 2 Scale Release Auto (Designed by Mike "Whiskers" Allen) w/ Smooth Black Aluminum Handles & 154-CM Stonewash Finished Blade

Designed by our long time friend Mike "Whiskers" Allen the "MAGIC 2" Auto is manufactured by Protech (USA) and features Lightweight Smooth Black Anodized Aluminum Handles with a wide "Spear Point" designed 3 3/4" Stonewash Finished Blade made of Premium 154-CM Stainless.

It is a coil activated, side opening auto with a hidden release mechanism (Scale Release). The MAGIC 2, (like most of Whisker's custom models), opens via "scale release", which is a hidden release mechanism and operates by sliding the handles, (at the bottom), to the side, to open and close it. It only opens automatically (not manually). It is not a double action (Auto Opening Only). Measures 8 5/8" overall open.

Measures 4 7/8" closed with a razor sharp 3 3/4" blade. Blackened (new style/deep carry/ventilated) Blackened stainless pocket clip on the backside for "tip up" carry. Superb quality piece that on the outside features no buttons, or levers, so only you know it's an auto. The moving of the handles to the side needed to activate the internal coil spring acts as a safety. Whiskers is generally credited with designing the first coil operated scale release knife with the help of his friend (now deceased) A.A. Sanders, (Norman, OK).
