Original 1982-1990 Gerber Guardian II Survival Knife.

Features a 6 7/8" Polished 440C Stainless, double-edged blade.Black "Armorhide" metal Handles  with a finger guard and lanyard hole at the base. Overall is 11 7/8". Marked on the tang with the Gerber name and logo, and on the blade "Design by R.W. Loveless". Marked on one side of the handles "GUARDIAN II"

Backside of the tang is serialized A3734S..The Guardian Series does not have a table that can be referenced like the Mark II, however based on the serial number this one would of been made in when the Guardian II was first released in 1982. Along with the similar Mark II, the Guardian Series is becoming very sought after..

Includes a Heavy Duty black leather sheath. Marked in three lines:GERBER PORTLAND, ORE 99723 USA. . All original piece in excellent condition. Price varies widely for the Guardian II, but they are very scarce; even more so in mint condition. 

 Condition is excellent-near mint. In storage since it's purchase. Never used or carried. Leather sheath is mint. One of the finest examples from the 80's we have had the pleasure of offering.
