CUSTOM 1950's Style AIK/Italian "Frosolone Pattern"  PICKLOCK Switchblade Handmade by Renzo Pascotto and Customized by AIK with Fossil Coral and Hand File Work

Features a 5" Mirror Polished Bayonet Styled Blade made of 440 Stainless and honed to a fine edge. "Frosolone Pattern" Picklock Classic (Frosolone is named for the region of Italy that this pattern of switchblade was introduced, whereas the push button is located approx 3/4 of the way down on the handle rather than approx half way down as on a typical Maniago made switchblade).  Measures 11" overall open & 6" closed. Super Heavy Duty Piece with a thick (3/16" / 4mm) inch backspring, blade, and kickspring. When measured with the brass liners the backspring is 1/4" thick!

Traditional Sliding safety with extra heavy nickel silver, brass lined bolsters which are accented with Hand Milgrain and Hand Engraved at the base.. These knives are handmade and assembled the old way by Renzo Pascotto for Campolin and Customized with Fossil Coral and Hand File Worked by AIK. The kick spring is a "slip-in" style. Features superb action with rock solid lockup.

Blade is marked on the tang "Renzo Pascotto Maniago, Italy". Picklock design; means you must take your index finger and thumb and pull back where the blade locks to unlock it, (most modern classics have a swivel bolster release design). (Older Model classics from the 50's and 60's featured the Picklock design closure). This is one of the finest quality Italian Classics constructed.  

Fossil Coral Handles are exceptionally beautiful with a rainbow of colors that include reds, blues, grays, black and white.
