Early Production 1984-1996 HUBERTUS Solingen SLIM JIM Springer with Ivory Micarta and Hand File Work

Early Production (West Germany marked) Hubertus, Solingen Germany.  Handcrafted in the true sense, you can't get any closer to Old World traditional craftsmanship than this!

Operates by pressing down on the lever located at the top bolster which activates the internal leaf spring. Flipping up on the lever acts as the safety.

This model is called the "Slim Jim" and is popular due to it's slim design. The 3 1/4" spear point blade features Solingen Stainless Steel and Hand File Workm on the spine of the blade. File Work on this model is different than the typical Hubertus models and was an experimental version done by the    factory. This earlier production models are much more desirable than current production models (this is a 1984-1996 production piece), due to the superior construction. 

 Features Ivory Micarta Handles (Micarta was produced by Westinghouse in the USA), and is no longer made. It ages like real ivory with the color turning darker) with nickel silver top and bottom bolsters and nickel silver liners . . Measures 4 1/2" closed. . Mint/Old Stock. Features superb action with rock-solid lockup. Includes a custom zippered pouch.
