Vintage Edge Company Cumosa Mexican Pull String Release Switchblade Made in Mexico

This model was widely distributed by the now defunct Edge Company and operates by pulling on the leather lanyard to open. These early models that were once at the bottom of the totem pole when it came to collectible switchblades, but are becoming increasingly sought after probably because you rarely see them today. They have all but disappeared an are no longer manufactured.

The 3 1/4" mirror polished Clip Point Blade features a razor edge and is stamped "CUMOSA INOX MEXICO" and etched "EDGE CO".  Bolsterless Handles feature exotic hardwood with stainless pins. Stainless Liners.. Operates automatically by pulling on the leather lanyard located at the base. Closes by pulling the blade forward, then pulling the leather lanyard down so the blade can be reset back into the handle. Measures 7 7/8" Overall Open. Features Excellent lock up and action.  Condition is very good-excellent. .
