CUSTOM 50's Style 14" Open/ 35cm Italian Flat Guard Picklock Wasp 5mm Classic Handmade by Renzo Pascotto with Exotic Burl Wood    (Dolphin Stamp) and Hand File Work by AIK

Features a 6 3/8" Mirror Polished Bayonet Styled Blade. Actual Overall Size Measures 13 1/2" overall Open (35cm). Measures  7 1/4" closed. Super Heavy Duty Piece with a thick 3/16" inch (5mm)  backspring, blade, and kickspring. When measured with the brass liners the backspring is more than 1/4" thick.

Body has the "Wasp Waist design" which was found on the higher end models of the 50's. ( The handle flares out slightly, (widens) approx 3/4 of the way down). This size has never been made before by Pascotto. 

Heavy Duty Sliding safety with extra heavy Brass Lined Nickel Silver "Flat Guard" Designed Bolsters . These knives are handmade and assembled the old way by Renzo Pascotto . The kick spring is a "slip-in" style. Exotic Burl Wood Handles are absolutely stunning! Accented with Hand File Work on the Blade, Backspring and Liners! 

Blade is marked on the tang "PASCOTTO RENZO MANIAGO ITALY". Backside is marked with the "DOLPHIN" logo which shows that the finest handle material was used on the knife and has the initials of the supplier of such. Blade is mirror polished with the bayonet grind. 

Picklock design; means you must take your index finger and thumb and pull back where the blade locks to unlock it, (most modern classics have a swivel bolster release design). (Older Model classics and Limited Editions feature the Picklock design closure). Includes a Custom Zippered Pouch.
