Vintage Early PRESTO American Made "Double Button" Pattern Switchblade with Black/Red Celluloid

Vintage PRESTO Double Button switchblade, made from 1929 to 1956, this one features what is referred to as "Celluloid Handles". Measures 3 3/8" closed. Overall (with both blades open), is 7".

Tang is of the main blade is marked "PRESTO PAT PEND G". Back side of tang is Blank. Smaller Blade is marked "GEO SCHRADE KNIFE CO. INC. B'PORT.CT". Main Clip Point Blade measures 2". Small blade measures 1 5/8".

This knife has a lot of mechanical issues. Safety works only on main blade. Blades DO NOT seat in the handle. Main blade has a slight "peek", Small Pen Blade has been sharpened and has lots of "peek". Action is very fast on the main blade and causes "bounce back" on every opening. Pen blade does not always stay closed. When you do get it to close, it has major "peek" issues. 

Main Blade has lots of scratches. Handles are nice with no rivet cracks and little shrinkage.   Brass Liners.. Overall poor-fair condition. Priced accordingly. Includes a custom zippered pouch. .
