Original 8" Overall Open (20cm) Vintage G.C.CO ITALY 50's Italian Classic "Picklock" with Genuine Horn and Bayonet Blade

Features beautiful Genuine Horn handles (all original) with a 3 5/8" mirror polished Bayonet Styled Blade. Tang is marked "G.C.&CO" with "ITALY" underneath.  Brass lined Nickel Silver bolsters. Features superb action and excellent lockup. Excellent-Near Mint condition. Measures 4 3/8" closed.

Blade is full and clean and has a slight edge. Never been sharpened. Traditional Sliding Safety is tight. Picklock design; means you must take your index finger and thumb and pull back where the blade locks to unlock it, (modern classics have the swivel bolster release design).

Vintage classics such as these are becoming increasingly hard to obtain, they are generally heavier constructed with slightly thicker backsprings and blades, with thicker liners. You can feel the weight difference. Weighs 3.1 oz.

Measures 8" overall open. A superb example of a vintage Italian classic. G.C. CO is one of the more collectible tang stampings. The quality of G.C. CO is well documented . Horn is very colorful on both sides. Includes a custom zippered pouch..
