To open you flip the lever upward and depress it which activates the leaf spring; flipping the lever downward acts as the safety. Handcrafted in the old world tradition by MIKOV which dates back to the 1794, these feature superb action with rock-solid lockup. 

This Custom Model from AIK's Custom Shop features Beautiful Mother of Pearl Handles accented with Mosaic Blue Blue Abalone and detailed Rope Pattern Hand File Work on the backspring with our unique "scalloped" pattern on the liners. 

Razor Sharp 440 stainless dagger style blade (false top edge), measures 3 3/4" and is shaving sharp.. Measures 4 5/8" closed with polished stainless top bolsters.
