Rare Early Production Blackjack EFFINGHAM, IL (USA), Applegate /Fairbairn Dagger

Manufactured when Blackjack was based in Effingham, IL. Back of blade at the tang is marked "MADE IN U.S.A.. Front side of tang is marked with the original Blackjack logo, along with "APPLEGATE FAIRBAIRN ".

Features Black Zytel Handles with a Lanyard Hole at the base. 6 1/4" Gray Bead Blast Finished Blade . Brass finger guard is serialized (#06426) .  Blade is made of A2 Tool Steel and is shaving sharp. You don't see many companies use A2; normally just custom makers). 

Heavy Duty Black Leather Belt Sheath. Measures 11" overall. . Hard piece to find..No Box or paperwork with this model. You do get a nice XXL Zippered pouch.

Mint/Very Clean piece piece from a collection..Never used, carried or sharpened. Superb example for your collection. Last time we had one of these was 2018.
