Vintage American Made Colonial "Shur-Snap" "JACK" Switchblade with Mammoth Ivory

Colonial was located in Providence, Rhode Island, and was formed by the Paolantonio brothers who originally were cutlers from Frosolone, Italy. This vintage 1950's era piece features a 2 5/8" Mirror Polished Carbon Steel Clip Point Blade . Measures 6" overall open. Polished steel bolsters.

Ancient Mammoth Ivory Handles (knife has been re-handled) with Brass Liners. Measures 3 3/8" Closed. Sliding safety works. Tang is marked "SHUR SNAP COLONIAL PROV U.S.A." Overall excellent-near mint condition. Blade is excellent and seats deep in the handle. Action is great, lockup is excellent. Marvelous example from the 50's that has been re-handled with premium Mammoth Ivory. Includes a custom zippered pouch.
