Rare Original BARGEON French Made Lockback Folder (Manual Operated),

Features a 4" Mirror Polished Blade made of premium, razor sharp 440-C Stainless. Imitation Stag Handles with 16 and 12 gauge "Shotshell" extractors built into the top stainless bolsters. Measures 4 7/8" closed.  Main blade lockback release located at the base of the handle locks the blade up like a drum. Stainless liners are detailed with a brass bail hook.

No longer manufactured these are mint/old stock Made in France by Bargeon and are extremely hard to find. A true piece of European cutlery art that is fading fast. This is fine French steel from Thiers, France, once a cutlery mecca like Solingen, Germany; you can't put a price on this craftsmanship. Includes a custom zippered pouch.
