Features a Genuine Longhorn Beetle (White-Spotted Sawyer Beetle). They are a native species of wood-boring insect that is found throughout the Northeast, and in the Northwest to Alaska. They are commonly mistaken for the dreaded Asian longhorned beetle. White-spotted sawyers are a bit smaller, duller in appearance, and have a distinctive white spot between their “shoulders”. This is a superb sample encased in an acryclic block.
Designed so you can view the Longhorn Beetle from both the top and bottom or from the side. Measures 4 1/4" x 1 3/4" x 1" thick.
