Boker Solingen Applegate Fairbairn Double Edged Combat SMATCHET Fixed Blade 

Wicked piece from Boker Solingen, Germany, Double Edged Fixed Blade Applegate-Fairbairn COMBAT SMATCHET features a 10" (2 3/4" wide), Gray Bead Blast Finished Double Edged Blade features 440-C Stainless. Tang is marked "BOKER SOLINGEN GERMANY 440C STAINLESS". Green/Black Micarta Handle. Blade is marked "COMBAT SMATCHET" and serialized 0662/1200. Also marked with Rex Applegate's and W.E. Fairbairn's signatures.

Heavy Duty Full tang construction with a lanyard hole at the base.  Handles are contoured for built in finger guards. Measures 15 7/8" overall .  Heavy Duty Nylon Belt sheath.  No Longer Manufactured. Excellent overall. Never used or carried. Bead blast shows some light staining ), from storage) toward the tang on the frontside. Backside has been cleaned toward the tang and the bead blast removed. Includes a green canvas storage bag.
