CUSTOM 1950's Style 11" Open A.G.A. Campolin/AIK/Pascotto Italian Super Heavy Duty "Picklock" Wasp Classic with Rare & Unique Mammoth Molar Handles & Hand Engraved Backspring

Features a 5" Mirror Polished Bayonet Styled Blade. Measures 11" overall Open. 6" closed. Super Heavy Duty Piece with a thick 3/16" inch (5mm) backspring, blade, and kickspring. When measured with the brass liners the backspring is more than 1/4" thick. Body has the "Wasp Waist design" which was found on the higher end models of the 50's. ( The handle flares out slightly (widens) approx 3/4 of the way down). (This was more common and noticeable on the 13" models).

Sliding safety with extra heavy nickel silver brass lined bolsters.. These knives are handmade and assembled the old way by Renzo Pascotto for Campolin. The kick spring is a "slip-in" style. Customized by AIK with Mammoth Molar Handles. Hand Engraved Backspring gives you a 3-D visual effect,  ("Running Wheat Pattern"). Features superb action with rock-solid lockup. Finished with 24kt gold plated screws.

Blade is marked on the tang "A.G.A. CAMPOLIN MANIAGO ITALY 2019". Backside is marked "LIMITED EDITION" Blade is mirror polished and beautifully ground. Picklock design; means you must take your index finger and thumb and pull back where the blade locks to unlock it, (most modern classics have a swivel bolster release design). (Older Model classics and Limited Editions feature the Picklock design closure).
