HEAVY DUTY 1950's Style Limited Edition 11" Open AIK/ Campolin    Italian Super Duty "Picklock" Wasp 5mm Classic with Cross Cut Mammoth Ivory

Features a 5" Mirror Polished Bayonet Styled Blade. Measures 11" overall Open. 6" closed. Super Heavy Duty Piece with a thick 3/16" inch (5mm) backspring, blade, and "drop in" kickspring. When measured with the brass liners the backspring is more than 1/4" thick. This is one of the thickest (most heavy duty built) modern picklock on the market. Body has the "Wasp Waist design" which was found on the higher end models of the 50's. ( The handle flares out slightly (widens) approx 3/4 of the way down). (This was more common and noticeable on the 13" models).

Traditional Sliding safety with extra heavy nickel silver brass lined bolsters.. These knives are handmade and assembled the old way by Renzo Pascotto for Campolin with unique colored Cross Cut Mammoth Ivory done by AIK.  

Blade is marked on the tang "A.G.A. CAMPOLIN MANIAGO ITALY 2019". Backside is marked "LIMITED EDITION" Blade is mirror polished and beautifully ground. Picklock design; means you must take your index finger and thumb and pull back where the blade locks to unlock it, (most modern classics have a swivel bolster release design). (Older Model classics and Limited Editions feature the Picklock design closure).
