CUSTOM 1950's Style 11" Italian Picklock Classic "Frosolone Pattern" Handmade by Renzo Pascotto and Customized by AIK with Red Mammoth Ivory and Hand File Work.

Features a 5" Mirror Polished Bayonet Styled Blade made of 440 Stainless. Frosolone Pattern refers to the region of Italy these were originally made, and differ from other classics with the release button located lower down on the handle. Measures 11" overall open. 6" closed. Super Heavy Duty Piece with a thicker than normal backspring, blade, and kickspring; (4mm thick). 

Traditional Sliding safety with extra heavy nickel silver, brass lined bolsters. which have been Hand Milgrained. These knives are handmade and assembled the old way by Renzo Pascotto and Customized  by AIK. The kick spring is a "slip-in" style. Features superb action with rock solid lockup.

Blade is marked on the front side of the tang "PASCOTTO RENZO MANIAGO, ITALY". Picklock design; means you must take your index finger and thumb and pull back where the blade locks to unlock it, (most modern classics have a swivel bolster release design).(Older Model classics from the 50's and 60's featured the Picklock design closure).This is one of the finest quality Italian Classics constructed.  

Crosscut Fossil Mammoth Ivory Handles are exceptionally beautiful and feature different shades of Light red with white, black, and brown. Accented with contrasting  24kt Gold plated screws and Hand File Worked Brass liners!.
