24 7/8" Overall Open (63cm) Renzo Pascotto Monster Classic with   Mosaic Abalone Shell and Bayonet Styled Blade

 "MONSTER SIZED" classic measures a whopping 13 1/4" closed and 24 7/8" overall open. This model has a more slim profile than Pascotto's earlier Jumbo models. Quality made the traditional way with Old World flair by the most coveted maker in Maniago, Italy; "Renzo Pascotto". 

This model features Mosaic Abalone Shell Handles (Abalone is in one section; on each side). 11 1/2" Mirror Polished, Bayonet Style Blade. Blade is 1 1/8" wide.. Note that only 4 Jumbo models were made with Abalone. (One featured a two piece Abalone handle with a nickel silver spacer); the other three are one piece Abalone like the one pictured. Only two of the full length Abalone models came to the US. The other one remains in Europe, making this jumbo model with Abalone extremely rare.

Tang is marked "Pascotto Renzo MANIAGO ITALY" on the front side of the tang. The backside has the "Dolphin" quality logo. 5mm thick backspring and blade. Brass lined. Traditional Sliding safety with Nickel Silver Bolsters. Weighs 3lbs 3oz, but you can still handle it quite well. This oine has excellent action for it's size.

 (Abalone Shell handles measure 1 5/8" wide.)  Superb Handcrafted Quality from Italy in the true sense of the word. Blade is etched "2023 SPECIAL EDITION" . Backside of the tang is serialized with the "Dolphin" quality logo and "24/30". A total of 30 pieces were planned to be made, but due to Pascotto's health the set was not completed, making this series more collectible, and only 4 of the Abalone pieces were made....
