CUSTOM Italian "Switch Skinner-Hunter" by Coltellerie Lepre and   AIK with Mammoth Molar & Hand File Work

 This Italian Made Switchblade Classic (Switch Skinner) is handmade by a small shop in Maniago,Italy (Cotellerie Lepre ). Features Rare Mammoth Molar Handles with a 4 1/4" Mirror Polished, Hand File Worked Clip Point Blade (3 7/8" sharpened edge) made of 440-A Stainless. Side Opening, Leaf Spring design with rock-solid lockup. Backspring is also hand file worked. Liners are hand tooled. File Work was done by Lepre. 

Button Release is located in the top bolster with a unique sliding safety located directly below. Heavy Duty Nickel Silver Top and bottom Bolsters with nickel silver liners and pins. Pick Lock release mechanism, which features a curved nickel silver picklock release tab that you "pinch" and pull outward and up to unlock the blade, (picklock design). Extra Thick Superb quality construction.

Very "tight" construction.. Overall length open is 10". Features superb side opening automatic action with Rock-Solid Lockup. Measures 5 3/4" closed.. Tang is marked "MANIAGO" on the backside, with "LEPRE" and their logo which is a "hare", (rabbit's head) on the front. Includes a custom zippered storage pouch. This was a very limited production model and is the only one with Mammoth Molar. Lepre makes the finest switchblades in maniago. They also make the Black Widow model for Campolin.
