HUBERTUS/AIK CUSTOM "PEN BLADE" RELEASE Auto with Carico Lake Turquoise Stone, Mother of Pearl Inlays, Hand File Work, and 24kt Gold Screws

This unique"Springer" by Hubertus of Solingen, Germany and Customized by AIK is activated by pressing on the small 2" Pen Blade which automatically opens the 3 1/8" Clip Point Main Blade by an Internal leaf spring. Clever design fools everyone as it has no levers or buttons and somewhat resembles a manual trapper pattern folder.

This beautiful piece features contrasting  Carico Turquoise Stone which is a Lime Green Color accented with Black Veins throughout with Multi Mother of Pearl Inlays on both sides with Detailed Hand File Work on both backsprings, both blades, plus the liners. Milgrain Finished Nickel Silver Top Bolsters and 24kt Gold Plated Screws are the icing on the cake. The end result is one gorgeous piece!

Carico Lake Turquoise (Lander County, Nevada) is a beautiful shade of lime green with black veins throughout. The lime green color is due to the high levels of faustite and zinc. Although blue turquoise is the majority produced, in recent years lime green has been most valued for its rarity and unique color. "Nail Nick" is on the backside of the blade, opposite of the blade etching. Auto action is excellent and the lockup is rock-solid..Includes a Custom Zippered Pouch....You won't find this piece anywhere else except AIK!
