To operate Manually simply use the dual titanium thumb studs. It offers incredibly Silky Smooth operation via the bronze phosphate washers. Perfectly centered blade when closed. 

Operates Automatically via the hidden release; (scale release), located right below the Titanium top bolster which you slide to the side. Dual coil spring design kicks the blade out like a rocket. Action is SUPERB and lock up is ROCK SOLID. Hidden auto release so only you will know it's also an automatic. 

 Measures 5 1/4" closed. Massive piece with a rock solid frame lock. Although large it has superb balance and a fantastic "feel". Serialized on the backside of the blade. Quality of this model is outstanding. Benchmade's finest Gold Class ever offered.  Titanium Pocket Clip, (tip down carry)..
